The New Hampshire Public Defender is a private, nonprofit corporation with a local office in Manchester, NH. This office consists of one Managing Attorney, Public Defenders, Panel Attorneys and other legal staff representing indigent people accused of crimes in Hillsborough County North, including Manchester and surrounding towns. The New Hampshire Public Defender represents indigent people charged in New Hampshire courts with crimes that carry the possibility of jail time upon conviction.
