New Vision Organization believes that prisons should be places of growth and of dignity to increase rehabilitation and decrease recidivism.. Incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals struggle to get the resources they need to feel stable and empowered. Since their start in 2015, their advocates have volunteered on behalf of hundreds of clients, fulfilling individual requests for anything from job skills training to medical attention. They accept all service requests from incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals and their families, and they try their best to accommodate each request by either providing them service in-house or by connecting them with partner organizations. Common requests include: Medical care, legal advice and research, shelter, food, financial support, tools for seeking employment, and educational materials. Individuals in need of services relating to incarceration can fill out a service request form and email or mail it to New Vision Organization.
