The Local Readmission Council (LRC) works with formerly incarcerated people to remove barriers to reentry. It provides case management services and connects clients to community resources. The group also seeks to create a network of people, organizations, and advocates in the local community who support and innovatively coordinate solutions for the reintegration of formerly incarcerated people. The Local Reentry Council's objectives are to increase the effectiveness of available resources and services, provide creative solutions to fill gaps in services and resources, decrease recidivism, and improve public and community safety. In addition, the LRC offers service services to incarcerated people and those facing barriers due to former incarceration. Its services include Transportation support, help with immediate concerns, an action plan for goal-setting, housing assistance, and employment support, among many others.
