Ouachita Children, Youth, and Family Services

Ouachita Children, Youth, and Family Services is a nonprofit organization offering crisis support services throughout Arkansas. Since their foundation in 1910 as the Interstate Orphan’s Home they have worked to serve youth and families in crisis by providing advocacy, safety, and skill building activities that empower them to achieve lifelong success. Youth are referred to OCC by the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), the Arkansas Department of Youth Services (DYS), schools, community agencies, the Juvenile Courts of Garland and Clark counties, local families, and even by the youth, themselves. OCC offers a variety of community based services including 24-hour short-term emergency shelter in Hot Springs, individualized case management, educational support groups, therapeutic assessment, short-term counseling, aftercare case management for youth who have been released from incarceration, and structured opportunities for personal growth and lifelong success.
