Our House empowers families and individuals experiences homelessness and near-homelessness to succeed in the workforce, in school, and in life through hard work, wise decision-making, and active participation in the community. Our House works equally with parents and children to help whole families build the skills, resources, and confidence to break the cycle of poverty. Children thrive in their Children’s Center after-school and developmental programs. Full-time employment is at the cornerstone of their vision for empowering families and individuals to achieve lasting self-sufficiency and independence. Our Career Center provides extensive resources to help adults find jobs and build fulfilling careers. Not only do they partner with local employers who hire their clients and contribute to their training programs, they also provide financial skills training to help families make the most of their income.
