Prisoner Abandoned Unloved & Lonely's mission is to empower incarcerated men and women through positive relationship building. They assist loved ones and incarcerated individuals with letter writing to foster ongoing relationships between family members during incarceration. Volunteers also provide faith-based mentorship and companionship through letter writing. Community members are encouraged to assist family working to maintain contact with their incarcerated loved ones, or to become a pen pal to an incarcerated individual. P.A.U.L. believes that positive relationships centered on faith help to ensure that incarcerated individuals rehabilitate and return to the community safely.
