Project 180 California

Project 180 is a community based organization committed to breaking the cycle of incarceration for justice involved individuals. The organization is motivated by high recidivism rates in Los Angeles and hope to turn lives around through a variety of services developed to assist individuals returning to the community after incarceration. Their holistic approach ensures that all individuals have access to the specific programs and resources that meet their needs. At the core of the Project 180 model is deep, one-on-one connections between mentors and participants, as staff and volunteers believe strongly in the power of personal support. Their tea includes mental health professionals, educational leaders and more. They offer a number of programs that work directly with courts to guarantee that participants meet the conditions of their release and never return to prison. Some services for justice impacted youth are also available. For more information about specific services, contact the organization directly.
