Project Kinship

Project Kinship offers support services to justice involved individuals, as well as those affected by street gangs and community violence. Their goal is to help facilitate hope, healing and transformation for all participants through a combination of direct and indirect services. Project Kinship believes strongly in the necessity of a supportive community environment, so they provide training and support for community members and organizations committed to a more equitable pathway after incarceration. Some of their direct services include case management, short term and long term counseling, and educational opportunities. Staff and volunteers at Project Kinship work hard to ensure that all participants feel supported and valued throughout the transformative process. Their programs include Adult Re-Entry Programs focused on the unique needs of formerly incarcerated adults, School and Youth programs that strive to intervene before young people enter the justice system, and a Workforce Program focused on job skills development and placement.
