Root and Rebound Re-Entry Program

Root & Rebound’s purpose is to empower and serve the families and communities most affected by mass incarceration. They do this through legal advocacy, educational opportunities, criminal justice reform and litigation—a design grounded in the needs and experiences of people who are directly impacted. Root & Rebound offers a reentry hotline for justice-impacted individuals and their loved ones to help them find the resources they need to succeed at reintegration. Lawyers also work to help callers resolve legal problems related to their specific situation. Legal advocates also help inform and develop more equitable criminal justice policies. Individuals can contact the program directly for assistance and information about specific services.
