Description

The Salaam Reentry Program is a small, faith-based operation where volunteers work to encourage inmates to self-reflect while they are incarcerated. To achieve this, volunteers in the program hold a service routine during weekly county jail visits, as well as working closely and corresponding with Texas female prisons. The goal of the Salaam Reentry Program is to facilitate inmates’ transition to the communities by providing them opportunities to self-reflect because “Thinking Matters.”
