Salvation Army – Crossroads Center

The Salvation Army - Crossroads Center offers transitional and emergency housing for men experiencing housing instability. The center has the capacity to provide shelter to as many as 250 men each night, where each individual has access to a safe place to sleep and basic necessities. Staff and volunteers are also trained to provide case management services to men who visit the center, coordinating short-and-long-term housing for individuals who face barriers to safe, sustainable living accommodations. Crossroads Center uses a trauma-informed approach to ensure that the men who seek support do not feel judged or alienated during the process. They help coordinate sustained support, including treatment for chemical dependence and mental health crisis, job services and sober-living environments. They believe that supporting men experiencing housing emergencies requires assistance, rather than simply shelter for the night, and work to assist all individuals long after their stay at Crossroads Center.
