In order to reduce the number of people incarcerated and under court supervision, the County of Santa Clara is dedicated to creating a comprehensive effort that tends to the unique needs and risks of justice-impacted people. The County’s Reentry Program offers an innovative approach to serving these individuals. The Reentry Resource Center has curated collaborative relationships with more than 75 community, faith-based and County departments. These partners of Reentry are working together to help assist Santa Clara County residents exiting incarceration in living healthy, happy and productive lives. The Reentry Resource Center facilitates a number of programs with various community organizations, from treatment for mental illness and/or chemical dependence to legal services and educational opportunities. Individuals can register with the program through their website, after which staff will help participants find the resources they need for successful reentry.
