The Seward Bluff County Public Defender's Office is located in Seward, Nebraska. With one Public Defender and one Deputy Public Defender, the office provides legal representation for incapacitated parties at hearings before the Mental Health Board. The Seward County Public Defender is an elected official for a four-year term. The responsibilities of the office include legal representation of indigent defendants charged with both misdemeanor and felony offenses. The mission of the Seward County Public Defender's Office is to provide high-quality legal representation for all indigent defendants and advocate zealously to protect every client's Constitutional rights.
