Social Apostolate’s mission is to provide support for low-income, unhoused, disabled and at-risk members of the Savannah community. They are a faith-based organization that applies bible-based ideologies to charity and social justice. Social Apostolate offers a number of programs and services, including emergency food assistance, clothing and school uniform needs, and emergency needs for babies. Staff help individuals obtain birth certificates and Georgia identification cards to facilitate better access to support services and government assistance, as well as employment opportunities. They also offer access to a weekly clinic, eye exams, emergency prescription services and certain medical equipment. Individuals can contact the program directly for support or to begin services.
The Center of Hope is a nonprofit organization that acts as an outreach to those in difficult life circumstances. They offer winter clothing, bikes as transportation, faith community nursing, and pastoral care.
F.I.G.H.T. dedicated to assisting, advising and counseling Asian & Pacific Islander (API) descent men and women who are currently incarcerated or have been released.
