The St. Clair County, MI Public Defender's Office is located in Port Huron, MI representing indigent defendants before the 72nd District Court and the 31st Circuit Court on misdemeanor and felony matters. Their mission is to serve the clients ethically, competently, and with compassion, and they help provide equally challenging and rewarding representation to indigent defendants. The staff of the Office of the St. Clair County Public Defender is fortunate to have the opportunity to provide counsel to their clients while serving the community, and it is their objective to be a model for other Public Defender offices. The Public Defender's office provides legal representation to indigent defendants in St. Clair County who cannot pay for private counsel and risk losing their liberty if convicted.
