Section Title

Supportive Housing Communities

Supportive Housing Communities is a community based organization helping to house individuals required to register as sex offenders. All housing is provided for registered individuals specifically, and residents must be referred to the organization before entering the community. Men, women and families referred to the organization then participate in a assessment to determine eligibility and needs. Additionally, residents must demonstrate that they have at least one disabling condition or that they experience chronic homelessness. The mission of Supportive Housing Communities is to offer affordable housing to alleviate housing insecurity. Supportive Housing Communities also offers permanent supportive residence for men, women and families combatting homelessness, especially veterans and those with mental health needs, those recovering from chemical dependence and individuals with medical or other disabling conditions. For more information about specific services or to request intake, individuals are encouraged to use the contact information provided on the Supportive Housing Communities website.
