"U CAN" Community is a nonprofit organization, their goal is to strengthen the community through youth empowering services is to empower those whom they serve by providing specific alternatives to crime, the streets, drugs, juvenile detention centers, jails and prison. They seek to challenge doubt, fear, and any excuse by holding our youth and adults accountable. "U Can" takes a holistic approach to strengthening our communities. Their standard is to make leaders out of the individuals that they serve. They use evidence-based practices in reaching their goals and stand on the belief of “Yes U Can!”. They offer youth mentoring, tutoring, anger management, conflict resolution, life skills, social skills, and community events for reentry, aftercare, and pre-adjudication diversion programs for juveniles. Their reentry/after program will assists juveniles make a healthy transition back into the community after serving a sentence.
