Description

Wellbriety for Prisons Idaho Re-entry Program offers wrap-around support and a broad network for the those exiting the prison system. Their network includes a variety of services for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, including those in treatment centers, transitional housing communities, prerelease programs and in the community. Wellbriety for Prisons focuses on the needs of the whole individual, including recovery support for mental illness and chemical dependence, as well as personal and spiritual development. Their work is informed by the 12 steps program of White Bison’s Wellbriety Movement. Blaine Wood, the director of Wellbriety for Prisons, has offered training and support for Cherokee tribal communities, federal prisons and sober living communities for much of his career. He applies these same methodologies for individuals seeking support from Wellbriety for Prisons in the Idaho community.
