Work Options

Work Options serves the community by employing individuals who may otherwise face obstacles to entering the workforce. The mission of Work Options is to assist those people who experience barriers to financial stability and employment by offering concrete job opportunities, as well as valuable training in the food industry and culinary sector. Participants in the program receive key culinary skills training, as well as personal development services and assistance with locating a permanent position in the food industry. Their goal is to help facilitate long term independence and self sufficiency by preparing individuals for a culinary career. Most participants are able to complete training and locate employment in four to six weeks, though it is possible to move through the training program in as few as three weeks. Most importantly, all coursework at Work Options is offered to students at no cost, so participants will not incur debt while preparing for their careers.
