East Bay Prisoner Support

East Bay Prisoner Support is a community based organization committed to abolishing the prison system and advocating for justice reform. Staff and volunteers are heavily involved in projects related to educating incarcerated individuals about decolonization, queer liberation, anti-capitalist ideologies, and literature from Black, Brown and Indigenous authors. Their goal is to mobilize and inform those most affected by the prison industrial complex. Additionally, East Bay Prisoner Support strives to participate in local events and raise awareness about the rights of incarcerated individuals. Currently incarcerated people can contact the organization to request materials or literature delivered to their correctional facility. Community members who wish to assist with the mission of East Bay Prisoner Support are encouraged to donate monetarily, or to submit relevant periodicals and literature to the organization's PO Box.
