Description
Virginia Beach Reentry Council is an initiative by the city of Virginia. The council is a group of members that gathers online to assist returning citizens with their problems. ​The mission of the Virginia Beach Reentry Council is to help adult and juvenile returning citizens through a collaborative-supported partnership of private, public, non-profit, and faith-based agencies with resources to educate and/or provide assistance in overcoming reentry obstacles. These meetings are for Returning citizens or family members of someone who will soon be returning to our community. Please consider joining the Virginia Beach Reentry Council if you have questions or need assistance with employment, employment readiness, housing, education/funding for skills training and support. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The council aims to provide returning citizens with successful strategies to overcome barriers and assist them in becoming productive members of our community.
