SOAR

SOAR is a program designed by One Roof. One Roof's mission is to equip and empower our community to prevent and end homelessness through advocacy, education, and service coordination. In addition, ne Roof's goal is to connect individuals and families to appropriate resources related to their housing and service needs. One Roof provides services without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, political affiliation, belief, veteran status, marital status, or disability status. The purpose of SOAR is to increase access to SSI/SSDI for eligible adults experiencing or at risk of homelessness and to have a mental illness, medical impairment, and co-occurring substance use disorder. The program has a dedicated social worker who assists individuals experiencing homelessness and men and women exiting the prison system with applying for Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability.
