California Reentry Program

California Reentry Program

Description

The California Reentry Program is a program designed to support justice impacted individuals returning to the community. Their mission is to provide assistance to people who are exiting California correctional facilities through a network of resources catered to their needs. Staff and volunteers California Reentry Program offer support with developing parole plans, relapse prevention plans, and social skills. They also offer regular workshops centered on life skills. Individuals may receive assistance coordinating reentry needs with a CDCR counselor and accessing support services for formerly incarcerated individuals. In addition to direct support, California Reentry Program acts as an advocate in the community, promoting public support for reentry initiatives and encouraging positive reentry reform. They hope to provide a sustainable model for other California reentry programs across the state. For more information about the specific services offered by the program, or to request support, individuals should contact the program directly using the information on this page.
