The Greater West Town Community Development Project is a community based organization that offers educational and employment services. They serve individuals in the Chicago area who live below the poverty line, including the communities in Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, East and West Garfield Park, and Austin. The organization operates three key programs: Alternative High School, Vocational Training, and Adult Job Placement. The Adult Job Placement program specifically assists individuals who face barriers to permanent employment due to criminal conviction or significant gaps in work history. Staff are trained to help individuals of all levels, from entry level experience to highly skilled workers.
