Sharing Hope Ministry is a faith-based organization with a mission to assist at-risk and incarcerated women to change their stories by sharing hope through Christ's love. Services include: bible studies covering spiritual, emotional, behavioral and recovery issues, jail ministry within Amarillo's county jails every week, prayer correspondence and transitional housing. Their Patsy's Place project is a Christ-centered transitional home in Amarillo, Texas that includes mentorship for women as they work to cope with the many barriers they face during the reintegration process. Women at Pasty's Place are provided with a safe living environment, clothing and food, educational classes, Christian development, financial literacy training and life skills development. In addition, the Garden of Hope is a collaborative effort between Pasty's Place Transitional Home and Amarillo Food Bank. The Garden of Hope offers therapeutic benefits associated with working outside and with others, as well as increases pride and safety in the Amarillo community.
