New Mexico Women’s Re-Entry Center

Description

The New Mexico Women's Re-Entry Center (NMWRC) is a women-led nonprofit organization that is committed to helping justice involved women reenter the community. Women are helped to break the cycle of incarceration through the training and support offered to women recovering from substance use disorder and mental health issues. NMWRC aims to change the outcomes for women, their families, and communities by assisting program participants with the transition into recovery, safe housing, steady employment, education, and training. NMWRC works to help women that have been victims of injustice achieve the future they deserve. Additionally, NMWRC works with incarcerated women to help them change their attitudes about crime, alcoholism, and drugs and to treat mental health disorders and connect them with community services. Other services include job development, coaching, mentoring, role modeling, SAMHSA wellness and referrals. Contact New Mexico Women's Re-Entry Center directly for more information on their services.
