Federal Public Defenders for the District of Montana’s Helena Office

Description

Federal Public Defenders for the District of Montana's Helena Office is a branch community defender office for the judicial District of Montana. With one deputy federal defender on staff, the District of Montana's Helena Office specializes in the criminal defense of federal offenders who cannot afford to appoint a private attorney. The Federal Public Defenders for the District of Montana's Helena Office has a mission to provide high quality, client centered, holistic representation. They exist to make use of their power to prosecute and to provide clients with an aggressive, effective defense against attempts to cause loss of reputation, property, liberty, or even life itself. The Public Defenders for the District of Montana believe that a comprehensive system to represent defendants financially unable to retain counsel requires a dedicated group of private attorneys to supplement the work of the defender organization.
