The Federal Community Defender for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Capital Habeas office is located in Philadelphia and is a branch off of the main community defender office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. With three supervisory assistant federal defenders and 30 panel attorneys on staff, the Capital Habeas office works to provide representation to persons accused of crimes against the United States and are unable to afford private counsel.
