The Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of West Virginia's Martinsburg Office is a branch of the federal public defender's office for the Northern District of West Virginia. With one assistant federal public defender branch supervisor and two panel attorneys on staff, the Martinsburg office is dedicated to the defense of indigent clients charged with federal offenses. Their caseload ranges from petty offenses to the defense of complex felony prosecutions. The Northern District of West Virginia includes 32 of the state's 55 counties.
