The Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCCDLA), located in Texas, focuses on protecting individual rights guaranteed by the Constitutions of Texas and the United States. The mission of TCCDLA is to promote superior representation of persons accused of criminal offenses, promote goodwill in the community, and educate the public about the defense of individuals charged with crimes. TCCDLA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit association of attorneys representing individuals charged with criminal offenses in Tarrant County. The Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay and the right to a lawyer. The privilege of offering representation to those in need is why the law has offered public defense services.
