Day Reporting and Reentry Division

Day Reporting and Reentry Division

Description

The Day Reporting and Reentry Division is a part of the Broward County Sheriff's Office that supports individuals during reentry. They provide individuals with services and support that promote successful reintegration and monitor individuals to prevent reincarceration. Individuals participate in a needs-based assessment that helps the office determine what supports they need to permanently reenter society. Individuals begin the program when they are pre-release, where case managers will work with individuals to build a reentry plan that meets their specific needs. These case managers will also ensure that individuals understand any conditions of release or court requirements. All individuals in the program have access to education programs, job development and training, rehabilitation services and residential programs. Individuals should work directly with representatives inside the corrections facility prior to release.
