Cornerstone Ministry Group

Cornerstone Ministry Group (CM) is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to aid and assist in the needs of the incarcerated who have little to no outside support and successfully transit from imprisonment to independence. Its mission is to demonstrate its faith by meeting the needs of those incarcerated and their families. CM also strives to provide for the needs of the families left behind by their incarcerated loved ones. The organization was founded by the incarcerated, for the incarcerated, and their families. Since 2002 they have been helping people take their first steps back into society, helped families stay in touch, and help the currently incarcerated who have little to no resources. . The First Steps program at CM is focused on helping recently incarcerated transition back into society and providing housing, employment, rent assistance, food and clothing, phone, transportation and/or any other basic needs to qualifying candidates. Similarly, the Helping Hands programs assist the family of incarcerated people with basic needs.
