Restore Hope Arkansas
Description
Restore Hope Arkansas was developed to address the cycle of incarceration and support individuals exiting the corrections system. The program was put into place specifically to act as a bridge between government services and the community, providing tangible support for individuals and ensuring safe, permanent reintegration into the community. Restore Hope Arkansas is also tasked with reducing the rate of youth incarceration by supporting at-risk youth and young people in the foster care system. One of the core tenets of the program is that community members must be educated about the needs of formerly incarcerated individuals. The 100 Families initiative partners with community organizations to offer case management and support for families in crisis. Alternative Sentencing is a program developed to offer viable opportunities to avoid rearrest and provide alternatives to incarceration. The Re-Entry initiative is a collaborative effort designed to ensure successful, permanent reentry for those exiting Arkansas correctional facilities.
