Description

San Francisco Free Clinic provides healthcare services to impoverished, uninsured individuals in the San Fransisco, California area. San Francisco Free Clinic was founded as a nonprofit in 1993 by two family physicians who still serve as attending physicians there today. Their mission is to offer free primary health care services to individuals in need. Their health care services, which are only available to uninsured patients, include preventative health care screenings, diabetes screening and care, chronic care for illnesses such as high school pressure and high cholesterol, vaccinations, annual check ups, non-emergent treatment of acute issues, and dietary counseling. If specialty care is required, patients are referred to a network of volunteer specialists. San Francisco Free Clinic is open by appointment only Monday through Friday 10 am to 4:30 pm.
