American Job Centers offers free employment support services to individuals throughout Southwestern Connecticut. Since their initial opening in 2014, American Job Centers has expanded to four separate locations plus a traveling bus dedicated to career coaching. Employment support services include, but are not limited to, initial assessment, resume writing assistance, support groups, job referrals, job skills training, high speed internet access, printing and phone privileges, computer skills courses, one on one career counseling, workshops, job search assistance and seminars, and other career related services. American Job Centers works collaboratively with local agencies and organizations with a mission of matching employers with qualified applicants. Job postings range from entry level all the way to upper level management positions. Additional assistance and support services are available to individuals who meet eligibility guidelines.
