Provenance
Description
Provenance is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicate to supporting individuals during reentry into the community after incarceration. Their mission is to offer mentorship and guidance for individuals as they navigate the difficulties of returning to life after incarceration, as well as treatment for those with chemical dependence. Provenance hopes that the combined efforts of concrete services and spiritual mentorship will help to disrupt the cycle of recidivism in the community. They now operate a total of four homes throughout the greater Boise area. Residents of the Provenance program receive bible-based counseling and support while living in transitional communities. Participants of the program receive bedding and basic necessities in addition to a clean, safe living environment. They are equipped to coordinate funding with the Idaho Department of Corrections and facilitate referrals for individuals pending release from state institutions. Individuals can complete the application for services through the organization website or use the contact form provided to request more information about participation in the program.
