Indiana Reentry Integration Services

Indiana Reentry Integration Services

Description

Indiana Reentry Integration Services works with incarcerated individuals prior to release to ensure the best chance at permanent reentry into the community. Staff and volunteers connect with individuals during the pre-release process to develop an individualized plan of support that meets the unique needs of each participant. They offer holistic services for men and women working to reintegrate into the community. Indiana Reentry Integration Services work to minimize the effect of various barriers that formerly incarcerated individuals face to safe, stable housing and gainful employment in the community. Participants in the program have access to case management, intensive outpatient services, recovery services for chemical dependence, treatment for individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental health conditions, job development services and housing assistance. Survivors of domestic violence are also eligible for targeted counseling to overcome the traumas sustained. For more information about available services or to begin the intake process, incarcerated individuals can coordinate with prison staff or contact the organization directly.
