The Gilead House, Inc.
The Gilead House is a community organization committed to assisting individuals and families with restoration and reunification. The organization was founded out of abundant concern for underserved individuals and families in the community, and especially those who may struggle to maintain hope of a better life. Staff and volunteers specialize in recovery services for individuals experiencing chemical dependence, as well as reentry services for incarcerated individuals who are returning to the community. All participants of The Gilead House programs receive individualized mentorship and services, access to job development services and educational opportunities, and outreach at no cost to individuals. The Gilead House maintains a schedule of regular classes, including outpatient treatment, support for women and life skills classes. While some meetings are open to the general public, only participants of the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program may attend scheduled outpatient meetings.
