Open Door Health Center

Open Door Health Center is a nonprofit community medical center that offers necessary and affordable health care for all. The Open Door staff has a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all participants and community members. They serve members by offering integrated medical care services regardless of the patient’s income status. Open Door Health Center has a cooperative, team-based approach to providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health care in a single location. Open Door Health Center also provides assistance obtaining insurance, legal services, and pharmacy assistance onsite at the main clinic in Mankato. The mission of the organization is to increase access to quality care. Practitioners accept most private insurance plans, as are state-based services like Minnesota Care and Medical Assistance (MA). All patients also receive a sliding fee discount system to assist individuals and families with no insurance, as well as those with high deductibles.
