Pima County Know Your Rights & Legal Clinic

Description

The Pima County Know Your Rights and Legal Clinic program is operated by Pima County to ensure all individuals receive justice. The website features valuable videos which provide information related to Miranda rights, juvenile rights, the process involved with arrest, how the bail system works and what family reunification looks like. The mission of the program is to help inform the community about how to interact with the justice system and what rights they have before, during and after facing charges. Additionally, the Pima County Legal Clinic is open to the public every Wednesday from the hours of 9 am to 4 pm. Individuals may visit the legal clinic to discuss pending litigation, request advice regarding civil legal matters, or otherwise draw on the expertise of staff and volunteers to understand their constitutional rights in certain circumstances. The clinic also assists justice involved individuals with the restoration of rights after a criminal conviction and helps formerly incarcerated individuals with accessing public benefit programs.
