180 Degrees’ Clifton Place
180 Degrees is a nonprofit organization based out of Minnesota. Their adult residential program, Clifton Place has assisted over 9,000 men with their transition back to their communities and families. Clifton Place is a 37-bed residential program that supports formerly incarcerated men to secure stable employment, maintain sobriety, and establish new living arrangements. All of their clients are referred through the Minnesota Department of Corrections before release. Clifton place helps to secure employment and housing, and a commitment to remain employed and sober and maintain stable living space. They also have a non-residential day reporting program that supports graduates of their residential program with day-to-day necessities, such as employment and employability skills. Services at day reporting program include case management such as following court mandates, as well as conducting random drug testing, performing employment search verification and making on-site job visits, hands-on assistance, access to felon-friendly employment opportunity lists. 180 Degrees' Employment and Housing Resource Center provides a safe and friendly environment for ex-offenders to use appropriate employment and housing websites, make professional calls, create resumes, and write cover letters.
