The 18th Judicial District Public Defender's Office has a branch office located in Plaquemine, LA. With District Defenders, attorneys and other support staff working on a part-time basis, the 18th Judicial District Office serves clients in Iberville Parish. This office provides legal representation to people charged with a misdemeanor, felony, capital appellate and post-conviction matters. Their mission is to advocate for clients, support practitioners and protects the public by continually improving the services guaranteed by the constitutional right to counsel.
