2nd Chance provides outpatient services to members of the greater Port St. Lucie area on the southern coast of Florida. They have served the community for more than ten years through a combination of mental health and substance abuse services. 2nd Chance coordinates with psychiatric hospitals, treatment programs, Mental Health Court, Drug Court and detoxification units to ensure that all individuals receive the services that best support their needs. The Intensive Outpatient Program offers treatment services for those experiencing mental health crisis or requiring treatment for chemical dependence. The organization also organizes group therapy around: symptom management, relapse prevention, conflict resolution, behavioral responses, financial literacy, social skills, job training and self-advocacy.
