Adult Alternative Program

Adult Alternative Program (AAP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cause of helping formally incarcerated (convicted felons) individuals transition back into mainstream society. Their team has developed a 3-Step Program designed around character building, skills training and hands-on experience. The AAP program identifies a candidate base, facilitates classroom training, supervises and oversees hands-on training, and expedites certification testing and licensing in primarily the construction trade. They aim to enhance family unity through financial stability without the need for crime or criminal involvement, thus giving everyone the skills necessary to get back to or start on the right path to a productive life. In addition, their WOMEN-2-WOMEN program focuses solely on woman's issues, including (but not limited to) acquiring marketable skillsets for workplace re-entry, proper workplace and personal etiquette, motivation and positive support. They accomplish this by meeting periodically on a personal and group basis to share thoughts and ideas, help develop personal goals and objectives, and gauge individual progress.
