Advocates’ Community Justice Programs

Advocate's Community Justice Programs are specially designed and maintained to support individuals who may otherwise face barriers to sustainable, self-sufficient living in the community. Each of the programs assists adult men and women whose experience in the criminal justice system is grounded in behavioral health challenges, such as chemical dependence, mental health disorders, and/or trauma. Their programs address these underlying factors by bridging participants and appropriate treatment, housing, and vocational opportunities, as well as targeted social services, so that individuals can lead safe and productive lives in the community. By reducing the likelihood of reincarceration, staff also assist in the effort to make communities healthier and safer for all individuals. Programs include: Co-Response Jail Diversion, Correctional Mental Health, Reentry Services, First Offender Driver Alcohol Education, and Second Offender Aftercare.
