The Allendale County Public Defender's Office is located in Hampton, South Carolina. Allendale County is part of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. With one Circuit Public Defender, two Assistant Public Defenders and one Juvenile Assistant Public Defender, this office represents defendants in criminal court who are financially indigent. They also represent juveniles who have been charged with a crime in juvenile court and cannot afford to hire an attorney. To qualify for an appointed attorney, you must first go through a screening process where you complete a financial affidavit. If you are eligible, an attorney will be appointed to represent you.
