Alvis is a nonprofit human services agency that provides highly effective treatment programs for those in need. Founded in 1967, Alvis serves over 10,000 men and women each year with the mission to innovate and deliver evidence-based human service programs that empower those we serve to build meaningful and productive lives. This organization works to keep families together and make communities safer in Ohio. They believe in 180 degree impact, to create fundamental change in individuals, families and entire communities. The residential reentry program offers a comprehensive range of services designed to help individuals transitioning out of the corrections system and back into the community. These services include workforce development, family and child programs, addiction treatment, counseling, mentoring, and more. Additionally, Alvis provides services for developmentally disabled adults such as behavioral intervention, vocational training, and supported living. Their vision is of a future when communities believe that a person's potential is more important than their past. Contact Alvis directly for more information on admissions to their programs.
