Anti-Recidivism Coalition

The Anti-Recidivism Coalition is a community based collaborative network focused on ending mass incarceration across California. Together, the alliance of organizations and community leaders is dedicated to ensuring that all communities are safe, healthy and supportive. Staff and volunteers work directly with formerly and currently incarcerated individuals to ensure that they have the best chance at sustainable living after release and to break the cycle of recidivism. The coalition believes that all individuals thrive when surrounded by a supportive network. They take a four tiered approach to supporting justice impacted individuals: Inreach, Support and Mentoring, Housing and Education, and Policy Advocacy. The Inreach program focuses on mentorship and positive character building during incarceration. Support and Mentoring provides guidance for all participants before and after release. Assistance with housing, education and job development are essential services offered after release. For more information about specific services or to request assistance, contact the organization directly.
