The Arizona Department of Corrections is a state agency that offers rehabilitation & re-entry services to prisoners. The mission of the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is to facilitate structured programming designed to develop prisoners’ personal responsibility for their successful re-integration to the community through rehabilitative opportunities for change. Upon returning these citizens to the communities, ADCRR provides adequate supervision designed to improve re-entry outcomes, reducing recidivism. In addition, they offer re-entry and cognitive restructuring and other self-improvement programs, second chance centers and RED program, case management, computer full stack coding program and inmate tablet college program. Additionally, the pastoral activities program of the ADCRR consists of staff chaplains and volunteers serving over 40 different religions routinely represented in the incarcerated population. Moreover, educational services are provided in three basic program areas: Functional Literacy, GED Preparation and Work-Based Education.
