Better Future Minnesota

Better Futures Minnesota is a community based organization that believes in the power of collaboration to change lives. They offer a broad range of services to support the most vulnerable members of society and improve opportunities for everyone regardless of background. One of their support programs specifically targets returning citizens and the barriers that many face when returning to the community after incarceration. In order to be eligible for services through the reentry program, applicants must: reside in either Hennepin or Ramsey County, not have a conviction for arson or sex related crimes, be 18 years or older, be currently incarcerated or pre-release with a case worker, have returned the community within the past 90 days, commit to working collaborative with assigned team members, and demonstrate a strong dedication to properly caring for children and improving as a parent. For more information about specific aspects of the program, contact the organization directly.
